Where is the nearest supermarket?
The nearest supermarket, the Dune Shop, is 200 meters from the entrance to Ginsterveld. Those leaving the campsite through the back gate will encounter a small supermarket (the Spar) at 450 meters. Incidentally, in the village of Burgh-Haamstede, an Aldi and Albert-Heijn can be found about 4 km away.

No, pets are not allowed, nor are visitors' pets allowed in the campground.

We have a maximum of 6 persons per camping spot. If you do not exceed this maximum, someone can come and stay (at a rate). Are you staying in rental accommodation? Again, the maximum number of persons is not exceeded.

Yes, this is included with your reservation.

You may enter the campground with 1 car per reservation. You can park your car by your tent or caravan or else in the designated parking lots. Additional cars can be parked outside the campsite in the parking lot.

Yes, this is allowed, only on pitches. The additional tent may not be larger than 8m2 and must remain within your own pitch. In the rental chalets it is not allowed to place an additional tent.

One camper, caravan, trailer tent or tent is allowed per pitch. One additional tent of max. 8m2 is allowed.

No, the indoor playground is only open to guests staying at our campground.

Yes, there is FREE WiFi at the park.

Yes, in the sanitary building on field E there is a disabled sanitary facility.

No, our pool is only open to guests staying at our campground.

There is entertainment during weekends and regular school vacations.
Arrival & Departure

What if I arrive later than reception hours?
The reception is open Mon-Sat from 9:00-17:00. During the high season we often have longer opening hours and the reception is also open Mon-Sat in the evening until 19:00. If you arrive later you can use the intercom next to the reception, we will come to help you.

For campers, arrival time is from 2:00 pm and departure time is until 11:00 am.
For the rental chalets, the arrival time is from 3:30 p.m. and the departure time is until 10:30 a.m.
Reservations & Payments
There is a deposit listed in my reservation. What is this deposit for?
There is a deposit listed in my reservation. What is this deposit for?
You pay a deposit for the Ginsterveldcards. You will receive these cards from us when you check in. You need the cards for access to the swimming pool, the indoor playground and the bicycle and walking gates at the back of the park. When you check out, you can return the cards or deposit them in the suggestion box. The deposit is then automatically refunded to the account number used to pay.

If you have cancellation insurance through Ginsterveld, you can cancel your vacation upon presentation of proof. If you have no insurance and you cancel your vacation, a minimum of 15% and a maximum of 100% of the basic price will be charged, in accordance with the RECRON-conditions. Cancellations must always be made by e-mail.

Yes, you will always receive confirmation of your cancellation.
How do I pay for my vacation?
How do I pay for my vacation?
After booking, you will receive a reservation confirmation that includes payment deadlines. The first payment term is usually two weeks after booking and the second about one month before arrival at the park. You can easily make your payment via the payment link in the booking confirmation by following the instructions. Payment is also possible directly during online booking.
