How far away is the Renesse vacation park?

Our vacation park is just a 15-minute drive from the lively town center and the wide sandy beaches of Renesse. Would you rather go by bike? In about 15 to 20 minutes (approx. 5 kilometers), you can cycle at a leisurely pace through the beautiful Zeeland countryside straight to the bustling heart of Renesse. Didn’t bring your own bikes? No problem! You can easily rent bikes at our park.

Are there any weekly markets or events?

Yes, during the season (from April through October), there’s a lively weekly market every Wednesday morning in downtown Renesse, around the Jacobuskerk. During the summer months, there are also regular evening markets, a summer fair, and various musical events.

Is parking free at the beach and downtown?

In the center of Renesse and at the direct beach access points, parking fees apply during the high season. A handy tip is the large Transferium in Renesse: here you can park at a reasonable rate and, during the summer months, often take advantage of free transportation to the beaches. From our park, biking is of course the fastest way to get there, and you can always park for free right outside the door!

Where is the best place to spot seals?

The best place to spot seals is from the beach near Jan van Renesseweg or Wilhelminapad. At low tide, the seals rest here on the sandbars that have been exposed just off the coast. Don’t forget to bring your binoculars!
